A New Cell Phone

The good news is I got a new cell phone. The bad news is I have to learn how to use it. I like being a creature of habit! Fortunately, it has not been too bad of an adjustment. My "old" phone is not old by definition. I apparently selected the wrong plan as I continue to get HUGE overage and huge bills monthly because I am talking too much.
My "old" phone is not old by definition. I apparently selected the wrong plan as I continue to get HUGE overage and huge bills monthly because I am talking too much.First, I spend a HUGE amount of time in the car and away from home. I car pool children from three families. When I am at home, I like to be at home and do the home things I need to do. As soon as I get in the car I think of all the calls I need to make. I also like to use the time in the car to multi-task - it is a good time to make the calls I need to make.

To get a better plan - almost trippling my number of monthly minutes - for the same monthly fee - requred a new carrier and a new phone.
I do like the new phone better. My old phone was a Motorola Razor, which I never much cared for. In the next few days, I'll be learning some new tricks!

To Houston and Back

Don and Reese traveled this weekend to Houston to bring Betty Grandma's car to her. When she moved, she left her car with us to drive to her at a later date. Don and Reese drove the car down and then flew back today. They had a nice visit with Betty Grandma - Reese even spent the night with her and enjoyed an all night (till '11) game of Monopoly with Uncle Jack, Aunt Brenda and Grandma.

The boys report that her apartment is very nice (at $1,500 per month it should be!) and she is enjoying her new surroundings. Grandpa Gene is again in the hospital with another round of pneumonia. I am happy that Reese and Don were there to visit him in the hospital. I am so sorry that I am now far away and cannot visit.

Walker and I got to spend the whole.weekend.together. Saturday we went to Wendy's for lunch and swimming in the evening. Sunday, he spent about two hours playing in his room because he refused to do what I asked him to. When he finally came out I took him for a donut.

I had one showing at the condo that ended sadly. The people totalled their car on the way- yikes! A realtor also showed once today

Bowling

Today is bowling day for Walker and his school. He is so happy to have me join him on school field trips.

The children were all well behaved and all had a joyous time. I did not take photos today, but here are some from the last time we went:

I feel loved

Walk just woke up. First thing he had to say?

“Where’s Daddy”

Followed by “rub my feet, come on, rub my feet”

Makes me feel loved

Lilly Pulitzer

I love Lilly Pulitzer. I buy it whenever I see it - to wear myself or to sell in my ebay store, The Lovington Closet.

I bought these two dresses a long time ago and they have been hanging in my closet ever since. I love the straw dress, but it will never look good on my body type.

LillyPulitzer Lemonade Orange Blossoms

The other two actually fit, but really look bad on my body type. Don loves them so I have kept them hanging in my closet. I wore the pink recently, even though I really did not care for how I looked. Following the party we attended, the hostess graciously sent photos from the event and did I ever look not only bad, but huge!

Lilly Pulitzer Hot Pink Shells Bells

I hope someone who also loves Lilly will find them and enjoy them as much as I wish I could have.
