JROTC

Reese's ROTC unit just had its formal inspection. His unit is made up of two high schools (grades 9 and 10) and one senior high school (grades 11 and 12)

At this Off-Year Triennial Formal Inspection, his unit retained the select designation as an "Honor Unit With Distinction," and for next year again, their leader will have nomination authority to the military academies. This unit is in the top 10% of the Nation's Army JROTC Programs. There are currently 1565 Army JROTC Programs in the nation, totaling 287,000 cadets.
